The CIA Leak Plot Thickens (Except in the MSM)

From the looks of it, the firing of CIA leaker Mary McCarthy could well be the next big story in the blogosphere (or at least the right-wing blogosphere). While the MSM continues to rationalize, run interference, and generally bury this story, the blogosphere is compiling massive amounts of information on McCarthy, her misdeed, and her connections to the Left (namely, John Kerry, Sandy Burglar, Joseph Wilson...you get the picture).

Let's categorize this wealth of information that the MSM, so far, is pretending not to be too concerned with, shall we?

Flopping Aces takes the prize for the most thorough compilation of information thus far about Mary McCarthy and the leak, here.

Little Green Footballs
offers about 2 degrees of separation between McCarthy and Lyin' Joe Wilson, here.

Mark Levin over at the NRO makes a few observations on the MSM reaction to this story. Apparently, the MSM is far more concerned about the ramifications of escalating gas prices on our nation's well-being than a pesky CIA leak to the media about black prisons abroad. Interesting.

NewsBusters was watching when CBS's Bob Schieffer offered his sour grapes on the CIA firing, here.

Tom Maguire at JustOneMinute follows the money trail between the McCarthy household and the Democratic Party.

Bryan Preston at JunkYardBlog looks at the MSM's attempts to rationalize McCarthy's inevitable elevation from CIA desk analyst to whistleblower, here.

Also check out the usual heavy-hitters for more on this story: Hugh Hewitt, Michelle Malkin, Power Line, Instapundit, The Belmont Club, Captain's Quarters, and RealClearPolitics.

That should be a pretty good start.

Now back to the MSM's regularly scheduled, non-CIA-leak-related programming...
